ITBP PST Details: Physical Standard Test:
The Physical Standard Test (PST) evaluates candidates based on physical parameters such as height, chest (for males), and weight. Candidates who do not satisfy the prescribed standards shall be disqualified.

- Height measurements are based on category and region.

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is a qualifying test that must be passed before proceeding to the next step.

- Race: 1.6 kilometers in 7.5 minutes.
- Long Jump: 11 feet (3 attempts)
- High Jump: 3.5 feet (3 attempts)
For female candidates.
- Race: 800 metres in 4.5 minutes.
- Long Jump: 9 feet (3 attempts)
- High Jump: 3 feet (3 attempts)
Exemptions
- Ex-servicemen are excused from the PET, but must appear for the PST.
