The official notification for the 2025 Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I) has been made public by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). There are 457 openings in all around India at different training institutions. Candidates who are qualified and interested may apply online for the UPSC CDS I Exam in 2025.

- Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 100 posts
- Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala: 32 posts.
- Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32 posts.
- Officers' Training Academy, 122nd SSC (Men) (NT), Chennai (Madras): 275 Positions
- Officers' Training Academy, 36th SSC Women (NT), Chennai (Madras): 18 Positions
Nationality:
The applicant must be single and fall into one of the following groups:1. An Indian national, or
2. Nepal's subject, or
3. A person of Indian descent who has moved to India with the goal of residing there permanently from places like Vietnam, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia).
Qualifications for Education:
1. For the Indian Military Academy (IMA).- A graduation degree from an accredited university or its equivalent is required of candidates.
2. For INA, the Indian Naval Academy:
- An engineering degree from an accredited university or its equivalent is required of candidates.
3. For the Air Force Academy:
- Candidates must hold an engineering degree or a graduating degree in any field with a 12th-grade proficiency in mathematics and physics.
4. For the Officers Training Academy (OTA):
- A graduation degree from an accredited university or its equivalent is required of candidates.
